Vector Air Flight Instruction - Training Costs
Vector Flight Training helps you to keep the cost of flying down by offering very competitive rates and NO CLUB DUES!
The cost of your flight training depends on several factors, including the frequency of your flights and your dedication to the task. The more frequently you fly, the less time it will take you to become proficient.
Aircraft Rental time and Flight Instruction time is based on the Hobbs meter time in the aircraft. The Hobbs meter simply keeps track of the time the engine is running in the airplane. Ground Instruction is billed based on the time you spend in training with your instructor while you are not in the aircraft with the engine running.
Flight Instruction time is $40.00 per hour for both flight and ground training in our Cessna aircraft and $50.00 for tailwheel training. Click Here to see the cost of our aircraft.
Private Pilot CertificationWhile 40 hours is the minimum hours of flight time required to earn your Private Pilot Certification, the actual number of hours to complete your training may vary. We have outlined some examples of time and cost for you, so you can get an idea of what to expect. These estimates are based on our least expensive aircraft and are estimates only.
